Priviscribe ("we", "our", or "us") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your data is handled when you use our mobile application, **Priviscribe**.
1 Data Collection
🛡️ We do not collect any personal data.
Priviscribe is a completely offline app. All your voice recordings, transcribed text, and any other data you create are stored **locally on your device only**. Your voice data never leaves your device.
We do not:
- Collect, track, or store personal information or voice data
- Upload voice recordings or transcriptions to the cloud
- Use analytics services
- Show personalized ads
- Require internet connection for transcription
2 Data Storage
All voice recordings and transcriptions stay on your device. You have full control over your data. If you delete the app, all saved recordings and transcriptions will also be permanently deleted unless you backed it up using your own device's backup feature (e.g. iCloud or iTunes). All voice-to-text processing happens entirely on-device using Apple's Speech Recognition framework.
3 No Third-Party Sharing
We do not share any information with third parties because we do not collect any.
4 No Account Required
You do not need to create an account or provide any personal details to use Priviscribe.
5 App Permissions
Priviscribe requires the following permissions to function:
- **Microphone**: Required to record audio for transcription. All audio processing happens on-device.
- **Speech Recognition**: To convert your voice to text offline using Apple's on-device Speech Recognition.
- **Local Storage**: To save your recordings and transcriptions locally on your device.
We do **not** access your photos, contacts, location, or camera. Voice recordings are only used for on-device transcription and are never transmitted over the internet.

We may update this policy if we add new features in the future. Any updates will be posted here with the updated effective date.
